"When I came to Christy to work one-on-one with her, I was so frustrated and confused. My main intention was to find clarity in what I wanted to do with my career. After working with Christy for just a few weeks, I received clarity on my career direction. I am now so excited about the new direction of my career and my purpose in life."

(Philadelphia, PA) . . .It happens between mothers and daughters, female co-workers and their colleagues, sisters and gal pals - women constantly compare themselves to other women. Whether consciously or unconsciously expressed, most women look to other women as to who is more beautiful or who is more successful. In this unspoken competition to be the prettiest, the most accomplished, or the wealthiest; women often treat each other as though they were sworn enemies, and behave deceptively towards one another, or undermine the successes of one another. At the root of a woman’s misguided behavior and belief lies female competition. While the idea of female competition might bring to mind the dramatic makings of a Hollywood soap opera - complete with hair pulling, name calling cat fights – in reality, female competition is quite different from the known stereotypes. Female competition is actually a very subtle and insidious energy that seduces women into believing that they are not good enough, smart enough, or successful enough. It is a belief that conditions women to look for their worth in the opinions and standards of others. It is the false assumption that only one woman can be "the fairest one of all".

Clues and Cues to Realize Female Competition:

  • You are critical of yourself and others.
  • Losing depresses you.
  • Winning makes you happy, for a moment.
  • You never feel as if you are good enough.
  • You are not aware of your preferences until someone tells you theirs.
  • You hope others fail.
  • You feel intimidated and not worthy when you meet successful people.
  • You don’t feel a sense of self-love.
  • You feel jealous when others succeed.

Solutions to Transform Female Competition:

  • Mantras are a great and powerful way to change a thought, for example, "I am perfect and complete as I am".
  • Meditation 20 minutes per day every day is another solution to evolving a perfect picture. Being still or any type of silence is essential.
  • Treatments are a form of prayer that empowers the spirit within to make powerful and positive changes.

"Female competition separates each woman from her own unique mystery and beauty. When women dishonor one another, they also lose the kindred spirit of a mother, friend, sister, daughter, co-worker, or teacher."
