Testimonials

Debra Balestra"Working with you made me realize how important it is to feel good. Our thoughts and feelings mirror what we attract into our lives. You made me realize that there is always abundance and that there is always enough in this world. I am enough. You helped me open up. I feel like I have blossomed and discovered a very powerful connection to source energy. I've learned that it is and always will be there for me. I've also come to learn that it is extremely important to raise our vibration and connect to high level energy and emotions. Most importantly I have come to realize that I have power. I can be or do anything I want. It is so important to love yourself and to be gentle with yourself. You taught me how to manifest what I really wanted. Thank you for teaching me how to be very successful. I am truly grateful."

Debra Balestra"The Office of Student Involvement and The Student Development Center co-sponsored a lecture by Christy Whitman on Depression and Suicide with great results. We had over four classes attend each session, and the evaluations were most impressive. Our students learned the many signs of depression and suicide and what to do in case they encountered the signs. Faculty that attended were also impressed by the information provided, and was thankful to our offices for bringing the very important topic to campus. As the Director of Student Involvement, I would highly recommend bringing Christy onto campus, as her presentation can most definitely save a life."

"I want to thank you again for your outstanding presentation to the Hillsborough Community College group on November 15, 2007. Almost two months later, I have students telling me how much they learned from your presentation on suicide. Your willingness to share your story was and continues to be an inspiration. I and others appreciate your outstanding effort in educating people to the warning signs and all the other ramifications of suicide. I have been in the activities field for over 24-years and I truly feel that your presentation is one of the most important messages that we need to present to our students."

Carol Gladstone"Dear Christy, thank you so much for presenting your talk on suicide to our students today. From the start you established a rapport with the group that was genuine. By relating your own personal story, students became far more willing to open up and ask questions. The information you shared was extremely important and hopefully will "arm" students with tools they can use if they ever have to deal with this situation in the future. Much luck to you in all your endeavors."

"After my dad died my life starting going down hill. Everything seemed to be going wrong. I started thinking thoughts of hurting myself. Because my friends, family and co-workers helped me, my life is definitely looking up. It is so important for people to know about this before it is too late. Thank you."

Emilie Strauss,

Hello Ms. Whitman!
I just wanted to write you and tell you that you did an excellent job speaking for my class this morning at FCCJ South Campus on Thursday. You taught me some important warning signs of suicide. My mother and a high-school friend gave off some of those warning signs. My mother, for instance, would always say "I'd be better of dead" and things of that nature. Thank god, my father and I got her the help she needed and now is in a pretty good emotional state, therefore we are ALL happy. My friend from high school, wrote me a note after an argument we had, and told me she wanted to kill herself. I showed the family counselor the note, and she had said that typically a person wouldn't say the things she said in the letter (I forgot much of what the letter said now because it was a few years ago.) My counselor said that i shouldn't worry about it too much, but keep an eye on her. She said that I should tell a school counselor if things persist. She was a cutter also, and said that it helps take away her "pain". Still knowing my friend now, i believe she has stopped cutting and has gotten her life in a better state now. She is more happier...and so am I.

Well, I hope you come back to Jacksonville again so I may attend another one of your seminars! Keep up the good work."

Steven Corwin,
Student FCCJ South Campus

"I had a friend that was thinking about committing suicide and I said some of those things to her that are on the Don't List of what to say if your friend is suicidal. I am grateful nothing happened because of my mistake. I am also grateful that I now know what to do in case it happens again."

Sara Jacobs,

"Christy's talk had a lot of effects for me personally. I have a family member who committed suicide. I have also had friends who have struggled with it. I have too. The little card with warning signs and the Do's and Don'ts should be very helpful and I am glad she spoke to us today."

Thank you for joining my journey and struggle to keep her with me each and every day. You've changed my life (and hopefully hers) and you might never have known it. Keep going. Your passion makes you AMAZING!"

"I used to think about suicide a couple of years ago and the thing that helped me was my friends and I thinking of good times. I mean I went as far as cutting myself. You reminded me why I am so open to my friends and listen to anyone that comes to me."

"I loved your teleclass! Thank you for partnering with us. You gave a great presentation that is going to make a huge difference in my life and I'm sure all the participants. The part about allowing and when you find you are judging others and yourself and the effect on the LOA was really interesting. And I love the idea of looking at the opposites and living in joy."

In Thanks,

"I just had to take a moment to express my gratitude. No words can ever really do for what you have introduced me to and opened up for me in my life. I thought Abraham was terrific, and still do. Then we started the light body work and whole world opened up to me that I did have an awareness of, but didn't really know how to access in the way that has been happening lately. I am in contact with my soul in a way I have never been before, and I know I am on a journey that will continue to grow and expand. I am working through blockages that have, in the past, held me back. My husband is also wanting me to express his thanks, as he is on the journey too. It is my intention to do the entire light body course. In the beginning of the Soul Love book, Orin suggests the reader take a moment to close his or her eyes and receive a transmission of love and light from him and other beings of light. I actually felt it enter my body! I'm so grateful to know they are always there for us. You said this would be transformational for us, beyond learning how to be a coach. Wow!! You were so right, and it just keeps getting better. I was doing some very direct asking before this course to live a more connected and guided life and I am certainly receiving an answer! I can hardly wait to see what's next! As Abraham says, we're not here to get it done, and I am still a work in progress, but now I see the progress and I see the path. You are truly fulfilling your higher purpose with your work and bringing light to so many."

THANK YOU FROM MY VERY OPEN HEART!

Estra

"Christy Whitman's 6 week Abundance Principle Coaching Program was truly inspirational. Christy provided the space, the concepts, the encouragement and the energy to jump start me in focusing on the outcomes I truly want to create in my life, and the confidence to begin creating them!!
