When you bring to mind something that you desire, what emotions are most easily triggered within you? Do you feel excitement, eagerness, and joyful expectation? Or are you gripped with doubt, frustration, or uncertainty? Your answer to this is crucial because unless you feel good about your desire, you won’t manifest it with ease.
Your feelings at any given moment reflect your personal energy field or vibration. Good-feeling emotions signal that your vibration is high and moving with momentum in a non-resisted state. While bad-feeling emotions indicate that you’re resisting the very outcomes you’re trying to manifest.
Picture the range of human emotions as a scale that goes from lower and denser to progressively higher and lighter vibrations. At the lowest end of this continuum are horrible-feeling emotions like shame, despair, grief, fear, and hopelessness.
These vibrations are so slow-moving in terms of their energetic frequency that we actually feel paralyzed when we experience them.
But the higher we climb on this emotional continuum, the better and more empowered we feel. We move from hopelessness to neutrality and acceptance, then to contentment, then to gratitude and peace… And finally, to joy, appreciation, empowerment, freedom, and love.
The higher you are vibrating on your internal emotional scale, the higher the energetic frequency you are sending out. And this makes you irresistibly magnetic to everything that you desire. Simply put, when you’re feeling good about your desires, they manifest faster and more easily. Because, in this vibrational universe, you don’t attract what you say you want. You attract by virtue of how you feel.
You’re feeling good – not just about your desire – but about yourself and life in general. You’re looking through a glass-half-full lens, noticing and appreciating all the good that surrounds you. Just think of the good-feeling vibrations you’re broadcasting out into the universe in that state!
When you’re feeling good about your desire, you automatically attract more of all that you consider to be good into your life.
Everything you manifest and don’t manifest in your life comes down to the frequency you’re sending out.
Remember, your vibration determines what possibilities, opportunities, and potential solutions you are able to realize in any given moment. If you’re in a vibration of scarcity, you won’t recognize expressions of abundance. It’s as though abundance is falling like rain around you but you have an umbrella up that keeps it from entering your experience.
When you feel bad about your desire, you’re blind to the very opportunities and resources that can help you manifest it. We are only receptive to those frequencies that are vibrating within the same range of frequencies we are sending out.
The fact is, every thought we think, every image we conjure, even every memory we revisit from our past, affects our core vibration. Some thoughts and images cause our vibration to soar, while others cause our vibration to plummet.
Thinking about your desire should cause you to feel good – and feeling good about your desire is the key to manifesting it. So if you find yourself thinking thoughts that trigger even the slightest bit of angst, take a breath and pause. Because the last thing you want to do is to continue moving down a bad-feeling thought path.
In those moments, do anything you can do to feel better.
Reach for thoughts of relief. Distract yourself with another subject. Take a break from what you’re engaged in and allow your vibration to reset. Making feeling good your first priority, and this includes feeling good about your desires. When your energy is realigned, your thoughts will reflect the improvement in your vibration.
To connect with your spiritual essence, simply turn your attention to the energy stream that animates your body and mind. This is the force that moves with your breath, that inspires ideas and new possibilities within your heart. This energy is the very essence of you. It’s the force that created the universe and all that’s in it. You are not separate from this energy, but an integral part of it.
Aligning with the universal intelligence that sources all things is one of the fastest ways to begin feeling good about your desires.
Remember that how you feel really matters. Your emotions are like guideposts that tell you whether your vibration is in alignment with your desires, or misaligned. And generally speaking, when you feel good, you are vibrating in an energy field of abundance. When you feel bad, you are – for that moment in time – in an energy field of lack.
The better you feel about your desire, the more allowing, receptive, and expectant you will be of them unfolding naturally.
