What’s the difference between a day that you dread and a day that you can’t wait to arrive?  And what distinguishes a moment in time that fills you with excitement from one that feels dull and repetitive?  Well, like with everything else, it all comes down to the frequency of your personal energy field.  If you’re not feeling as excited about life as you used to, know that you have the power to shift your experience.

Here are 3 energy mastery practices that will purify your vibration and make you more receptive to excitement and joy.

Energy Mastery Practice #1:  Understand that the way you focus determines whether you feel excited or not excited about life.

Take a moment to recall one of those days when you felt on top of the world.  Ideas were firing, connections came easy, and you created results with little to no effort.

Now bring to mind a day when everything you attempted felt like an uphill battle.

The only difference between happiness and unhappiness – between a joyous life and one that lacks excitement – is your energy alignment.  When you’re aligned with the energy that creates worlds, things go well for you and you feel enlivened and inspired.

You’re eager for what’s next.  And as a result, you naturally and easily attract everything you need to support your greatest joy.

When you’re not feeling excited about life, it’s always for one reason: You are not aligned with the energy stream that creates and sustains all things. You’re running on empty, using only your human resources to get things done.  And, you’re focused on what’s missing and what’s wrong, rather than on what’s becoming and what’s possible.

Most of us have been conditioned to scan for problems; not to be available for solutions.  We’re taught to go it alone, not to wait for and act on Divine guidance.  We were raised to view other people and life in general as a scarce and scary place.  And when we’re viewing life through a perspective of lack, it’s impossible to feel excited about life.

By virtue of the way you focus, you can raise your vibration and increase your passion for life.  You can choose to focus on past highpoints, and seek out words and images that inspire you.   You can take time out of your day to be with nature and to fill your senses with her sights and sounds.   Most importantly, you can regularly commune with the life force that sustains you, in whatever form you envision that energy to be.  In the silent realm of energy is where we find renewal.  It’s the birthplace of all inspiration and ideas.  Anytime you’re not feeling excited about life, turn your attention to this invisible realm, allowing pure positive energy to infuse you.

Energy Mastery Practice #2:  To renew your life force and excitement about life, put some distance between you and low-vibration activities, relationships, and situations.

Anytime you’re engaged in an interaction that feels difficult or unpleasant, you have a choice about how you respond.  You can keep pushing through despite the misalignment and hope things will turn out.  Or you can back away from the situation and allow yourself some time to rebalance and recalibrate your energy.

We diminish our own vitality when we force our bodies into activities that our energy is not aligned with.  We “will” ourselves to carry out tasks and maintain relationships, even when our vibration is screaming for us to do otherwise.

If you’re not feeling as excited about life as you’d like to, reexamine the energies you’re surrounding yourself with.  Do the people you spend your time with boost your spirits, or do they bring you down?  Are your leisure activities recharging and rejuvenating, or are you simply numbing out?  When you give yourself permission to say no to what doesn’t inspire you, you make space in your life for the people and things that do

Energy Mastery Practice #3:  Flow your life force in the direction of that which brings you excitement and joy.

I encourage you to make a list of all the people, places and activities that inspire you; that raise your vibration and give you energy.  Then as you plan your schedule for the week, to make sure you allow time for at least one life-giving activity each day.

Feeling inspired and excited by life really comes down to tending to your energy field first.  Identify the things that feel good to you, and do them regularly.  Identify the emotional states that inspire you, then consciously reach for anything you can find that induces those feelings. Move your body, play music, sing out loud… Do anything you can to encourage your vibration to soar.   And if something feels heavy, misaligned or not quite right, give yourself permission to walk away or to think of something else.

Remember that you are an energy being first and foremost.

You’re an energy transmitter and receiver that is always communicating with the non-physical energy that sources you. Through the power of your focus and your daily choices, you can bring in any frequency of energy you desire.  If you’re feeling dull or uninspired, you can call in from the universe the energies of interest and inspiration.  And with practice, this higher frequency will weave itself into the fabric of your daily life.
