The Quantum Council: On Turning Fear Into Faith
Channeled by Christy Whitman

We cannot not have faith. In every moment, we’re either placing our faith in what we want or in what we don’t want. Fear is an indicator letting us know that we’re directing our faith toward unwanted realities, circumstances, or experiences. Faith is an indication that we’re aligned with our desires.

“How Can I Turn Feelings of Fear into Faith, Hope, and Trust?”

This was the question that was posed recently to Christy and the Quantum Council. The Council is a collection of non-physical ascended masters who desire to help humanity understand our innate creative power and worthiness. Christy Whitman receives the Council’s energetic transmissions, and – as a skilled coach and transformational leader – finds language to interpret their messages. For your convenience, the Council’s message has been broken down into actionable steps you can begin taking right now.

Focus + Energy = Experience

The experiences that unfold within us and around us in each new moment reflect the direction of our dominant focus. When we’re focused on abundance, appreciation and positive anticipation, our experience is one of ease and joy. And when our focus constricts around negative or worrisome thoughts, resistance increases and our joy is diminished.

Everything within this universe is made up nothing more than particles of energy which move at a certain vibration or frequency. And frequencies that harmonize with one another are drawn to one another through the power of Law of Attraction. This means that resistant, pessimistic thoughts and beliefs naturally gather evidence to support and enhance more negativity. And it also means that positive, good-feeling thoughts will attract people, circumstances and experiences that vibrate at that same frequency.

Whenever you have a negative thought or feeling – such as fear – it only means only one simple thing: You have split energy in relation to something that really matters to you.

A part of you desires a positive outcome, while another part of you doubts your ability to create that outcome. The key to bridging this gap lies in deliberately directing your focus on subjects that evoke relief, acceptance, and relaxation. Here are 3 simple practices to support you in transforming fear into faith.

Practice #1: Deliberately establish your baseline frequency.
You now understand that everything is energy, and energy gathers together by virtue of its dominant vibration. With this understanding, you can make the powerful choice to calibrate your frequency on purpose. And this is easier than you might think.

Simply ask yourself – “Of the trillions of thoughts I could conjure in this moment, which bring me joy to contemplate?”

Don’t settle for the streams of consciousness being broadcast on the evening news or shared by a complaining friend. Instead, become as picky about the ideas you allow to germinate in your mind as you are about the air you breathe or the food you eat. Limit your consumption of scary or combative sounds and images.

Sort through the constant bits of information being offered and grab hold of those that lighten your heart. No matter where you are, you have the ability to shift your gaze toward that which is beautiful, interesting, or moving. Envision the life that you desire and surround yourself with thoughts, ideas and perspectives that harmonize with that. The more attention you give to deliberately creating your baseline frequency, the more immune you’ll be to fearful thoughts.

Practice #2: Diffuse reactions before automatically responding to them.
The simple fact is, life will continue to come “at” you. Things that are both wanted and unwanted will continue to unfold in your experience. And, you have the ability to redirect negative energy before it gains too much traction.

Realize that you always have a choice. In those moments when you’re aware of something unwanted, stop and remember that you have options in how you respond. A great way to do this is by asking yourself the following questions:

  • Where am I placing my faith right now? Am I aligning with my fears or with my desires?
  • In this moment, am I more aware of what I do want or what I don’t want?
  • What could I do to recalibrate my focus?

There is really only one way to bridge the gap between what you want and what you currently have. You must decide to lean in the direction of where you’re going; not to dwell in where you’ve been. Choose to reside on the good-feeling side of faith and assurance. Choose to believe that the best is yet to come. Choose to remind yourself that you are the point of attraction to which the entire universe is responding. And as such, you always, in each new moment, have the power to start fresh.

Practice #3: Build your muscle of faith.
Faith is like a muscle. The more attention you give it, the stronger it gets.

Mentally run through a list of all the things you know for sure. Replay the scenarios that unfolded just the way you wanted them to because you created them that way. Soothe yourself with affirming statements such as, “All is well. Everything is working out for me. I am a beloved child of the universe. The Divine is looking out for me and protecting me. I have the ability to handle anything that life brings my way. I have what it takes to survive and thrive now and later.”

Everything that manifests in our outer experience was created first in the internal realm of our thoughts and emotions. Faith is believing in that which can’t yet be seen. Choose to see the best in others and in yourself. Choose to use the incredible power of your imagination to paint the picture of things turning out well. Imagine things going well and bask in the joyful feeling state of having already created all that you want.
Optimism is like sunshine for the mind. It promotes life, beauty and growth, and draws to it more of the same.

Remember that you are the director of your own experience, and focus is the key to deliberately creating your life. When you focus, you direct the energy that creates worlds towards whatever reality you wish to create.
